Second, I am looking for a fic that I read on LJ, please if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.  Here's the thing, I can't remember the title or who wrote it.  It was Gundam Wing based with Duo & Wufei stuck (literally) in a bombed out building.  It was a short little get-together piece that was fairly sweet.  I told one of my friends about it & she wanted to read it, but now I can't find it.  I am not sure if it was removed (not sure why, I liked it) but if someone could help direct me to it or send me a link or let me know if its been removed, that would be great.  Thanks

Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a radio personality who dispenses advice to
people who call in to her radio show. Recently, she said that, as an
observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to
Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. The
following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a east coast
resident, which was posted on the Internet:


Dear Dr. Laura:
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I
have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that
knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them:

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a
pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They
claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus
21:7.

In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her
period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24. The problem is, how
do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and
female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend
of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2
clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an
abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a
defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair
around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev.
19:27. How should they die? I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different
crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of
two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? -
Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family
affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

This story is set after both wars and set-up as a what-if scenario that just tugs at your heart.  Normally I do NOT (I repeat - NOT) read death fic's, but this one just caught my attention.  This author has a rare talent to have me wanting read a death fic to the end.  She makes me cry, she makes me cry, she makes me cry... but I still read every word...

This manga is beautifully drawn and the story is captivating with the historical points.  The romance mixed with intrigue just leaves you wanting more...

I have been trying to reply to the comments on my page but LJ keeps blocking me & asking for my e-mail verification.  I have sent & resent the blasted e-mail verification multiple times & I have changed my e-mail that the verification e-mail is sent to.  So, I send a big SORRY >___> to everyone who I haven't replied to, its not you, its LJ   O_o

On another note, can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong here for the pre stated issue???  PLEASE someone HELP 

Don't get me wrong... I am just ranting right now (mostly due to the fact I work in retail) but I hate/love-love/hate the holidays.  I love old memory's of family get-together's; but I F-ING swear to god that some people should just fall off the face of the earth!!!!  When you work in retail you get a fairly up close & personal look at the lengths some people will go to, the insanity that grips there heart & shows on there faces when they are trying to buy the last of a certain toy in a store that has maybe 5, 10 or even 20 other parents going for the same toy.  You have most likely seen it on the news, or even on the faces of your fellow shoppers.  What do you think that the kids of such parents are learning from that... Isn't the holidays about giving and sharing???  About goodwill towards others???  

Sorry, I had to get that out.  I still have fun during the holidays with family & friends, but this time of year still makes me more & more sad each year. 

So, I am constantly reading multiple different story's/Fanfic's at a time (at any time).  I must admit that I love good writing, but I can NOT get the ideas in my head out onto paper.  All different story ideas just floating around in my head without a voice (well this might change... someday....hummmph) 

The Story's that I am currently reading & recommend:

"Seque" by Suyiou (set right after the story "The Price They Paid" which I also recommend)

I am also reading 2 to 3 different Manga's as well while watching/listening to different AMV's on YouTube.... (all this so I can fall asleep, YEA)

It's a not often celebrated holiday after Halloween (or "All Hallows Eve"); so I say Happy Day too all...
